First time Fliers

When the plane landed in Baltimore, we waited for all the passengers to get off the flight so that the kids could see the cockpit of the airplane, the capt let the kids sit in the cockpit, they were so excited.

Just like Heaven!

Aubrey and Taylor were talking about how beautiful the sky was, Aubrey said it must be just like heaven. Taylor whipped her head around and asked me if we were going to get to see Jesus, I giggled and said I hope not. But the more I thought about the Christ like faith of that five year old who thought we could see Jesus because we were up above the clouds.

Never leave the camera in the hands of a 9 year old

We had a good laugh over the fact that I was sleeping while she was taking all these pictures. Then she took the one of me and then the book that said "Old things bring nothing but trouble"...we laughed about that!!

Summer Vacation part 1

Our big Adventure started with an early morning Airplane ride from our home to Baltimore International Airport. This was the first flight for the kids (that they remember) and Aubrey was so nervous, but she did GREAT! At first Connor and Taylor thought that they had the row to themselves, but the plane became crowded and Taylor moved over to sit between Aubrey and me. I'll post some adventures of our Airplane ride first.

We went riding

The kids love to go over to our friends house they have horses. Connor absolutely loves the horses and Aubrey is cautious of the horses. Taylor likes them at a distance. She will ride, but she won't do anything else. We have a great time. The first part of June our friends invited us over for horse back riding and s'mores. We had a great time!

Random pics of the family at the cemetary

The summer

Our summer was crazy busy, in the next few days I will update my blog on what we did this summer. Please enjoy the couple of posts that I put on my blog today.

Memorial Day and paying respect!

The last few years we have been able to go to the cemetary to place flowers on Bonnie's parents grave, this year we drove from our condo and went to place flowers on their grave and once again the kids learned so much. This year Bonnie had sent us a history and Loren read it to the family while we were at the cememtary. What a wonderful way to pay respect. Thank you Bonnie for giving us this opportunity.

Memorial Weekend

For Memorial weekend we went to Steamboat Springs to our condo, we had a great time, we swam, got sunburned, played games, built tents, ate and ate, and ate...we had fun!

Funny hats!

Aubrey and i had to decorate some sort of a hat to show what we love to do together for her Achievement Day activity. So we got a mixing bowl and decorated them as our hats. We went to the store and bought all kinds of stickers that represented cooking, baking and watching movies. Thats what we enjoy doing!

For Mothers day we went to Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park, we had an amazing time. We hiked (what we could in the snow) we bbq'd, we swam, we had a blast.

Taylor and Brianna's Birthday

We had a birthday party for Taylor and Brianna, since their birthday's are on the same day. Happy Birthday girls!
