Fall Break

Fall Break this year was last week and it was a real bust! The kids spent several days in the pj's with me just watching movies all day. Here is a little glimps of what we did in pictures...not pictures of us though! ;-)

 This one is sleeping...not babysitting..although the kids did have a babysitter a couple times while I went to the doctor with Loren.

We did not do a lot on fall break, usually we go to Utah and have fun, but because Loren wasn't well and I was just coming off a sinus infection, and I had issues with my internship, we were not able to do a thing...sad!

Updates October!

I have updated all the pictures I have from June until now. I think we are fairly caught up. The last few months have been crazy busy. I am finishing up my masters, which I have completed the last of my classes for that. I am thankful for being able to make it through school with all the craziness of the last 6 years. I just have my internship to complete I hope that I can find one this week. It seems like an impossible task, but I do believe in miracles. I want to graduate in June and move on, but it seems like I might have to wait until July to do my internship, if so I am going to take more classes.

We have had some health issues too, Loren recently had surgery for kidney stones. Thats always fun (NOT). He was pretty sick with it for weeks, because he does not pass the stones and he actually has to have the surgery. He has other problems that were discovered during his surgery like his prostate, which is so enlarged that he would never have passed that kidney stone or any other (he has another one still in his kindey). So, after he heals from his kidneystones he will have an appointment with his doctor to work on the prostate. Getting old sometimes really stinks!

Back to school!

 Can't believe the kids are already back in School, summer went way to fast. Aubrey is already a 6th grader and Connor 5th, but the biggest change is Taylor is a 1st grader. Wow, can't believe how grown up they are becoming!

Movie in the park...or backyard!

 We went over to some friends of ours for movie night. We had a great time. The kids had to earn tickets during the week by cleaning and being good so that they could buy pizza, popcorn, hotdogs, chips, drinks, and candy. We had such a good time we did this two times. The kids had the best time and some played and some watched the movie, but that was ok, we had fun!

Aubrey's birthday (August)

 Aubrey's birthday was pretty fun, she had her friends over and we had a luau party (minus the luau) They had Hawaiian pizza, cake and ice cream, limbo dancing, lots of laughing!

 I tried to make her cake as flip flops, they turned out pretty good. Then I made oreo pops (thank you Laura for the recipe).

 The only thing Aubrey wanted was this bear from Costco...hahahah so she got it, it was so big she put it in a seatbelt on the way home.

 We went to Red Robin for her birthday dinner, she loves Red Robin.
