A New Roof, its loud!

The roof on our house was replaced AGAIN this year because of hail damage. It was so loud the kids and I went to the church and I taught school there. It wasn't so bad, there were enough piano's they could all play at once so practice went quick…and it was quiet.

Labor day at the Becksteads Cabin

 We love going down to Walsenburg to the Becksteads Cabin, the land is beautiful, the mountains amazing and we just love their family. We got to go horseback riding while we were there, that was fun. I had not been on a horse in 33 years. We took our dog with us, and she ran around there and had the best time ever. She was crazy, she slept so hard at night. Connor nearly had a heart attack because Shadow has never been outside without being on a leash. Once he realize she wouldn't run off (50 acres I don't think she was going anywhere) he settled down, but there were a lot of tears until he realize she was ok.

 The horses would come right up to the porch. LOVED it.

The summer

I'm behind in posting as usual, the kids and I spent part of July and all of August in Oregon and Washington. We had such a great time. Because we have lots of family up there we were all over the place. Connor spent a few weeks with his Aunt Kim and Uncle Dave, he helped them plant their garden. Connor had a blast, he was also able to participate on the local boy scouts from church's 50 miler. Taylor stayed with Jon and Renae the whole time. She had so much fun and was a big help to them as she played with the kids. Aubrey spent the first half with me at my parents, I'm sure she was bored out of her mind. The last week she spent with her Aunt Kim and Uncle Dave, she spent time with her Aunt Frances and grandma Ramos too, I hear a lot of shopping happened. At that time Aunt Frances did her best to make Aubrey a Seahawks fan.

 My mom had a pond, and she hated that it was more than a water feature which is what she wanted. Her back yard is not fenced and she was worried someone would drown in it. So, she asked me if we could empty it, once Connor came up to stay with me he and I went to work on emptying it. then Connor filled it with bark.

 My sister sells jewelry and she was doing an event at the county fair, so we went to visit here. It was HOT there…I was dying from heat…but so fun to see Leah 

 Astoria Oregon has some hills This one goes straight down, looks like if you weren't careful you could end up in the Columbia River.

A little disjoined this one is..on our way home from Oregon we stopped in Utah for the weekend, Loren flew in an met us there. We apparently ate out a lot. There are Chill's and Wendy's pictures all mixed up, you can figure it out! We had fun seeing the kids again. 

Blessing and Vacation

 While on our summer trip to Utah we celebrated Connor's birthday (July 12) and Aurellia's birthday (July 24). Connor wasn't excited about sharing his birthday but we had a great time anyway!

I took all my pictures of this trip on my phone, and now that phone is dead so I could not retrieve them all. We had a blast at the condo, Laura's family came up for a few days and then Matthew's family came up. Sadly I don't have those pictures now. 

My parents

 I went out to visit my parents in June when my dad was in the hospital, the day I arrived he was able to be released. I am so blessed that I could fly up and spend time with them. 

Jon, Renae, Paityn and Kayden came to pick me up so we got a picture of my parents, me, my son and my grandkids and daughter in law. Love my family, I am so blessed!
