Catching up!

I have spent the last week catching up my blog, I know I was so far behind. I am finally as caught up as I can be with pictures! We have been super busy with school, and working on our house the last few weeks that I did not take any pictures. Sometimes life just keep us super busy! Like today, as I have finished up the last few posts, I have been working on laundry…one of my least favorite tasks.

 This is how I feel about socks…and it does not work out that way in the end for some reason! 

Dedication is what it takes to get through the mundane everyday chores, so that one can appreciate what is before us!

Annual Mammogram Exam

 Its no secret that women need to have mammograms yearly after a certain age. I've been that age for a long, long time. I've had issues with these exam's before. This day I was called back for a second look and an ultrasound. I was worried about it. I ended up having to go back a third time for an aspiration and a biopsy. This is my plug for women to get their mammograms done, because we don't know what is going on if we don't. Breast Cancer kills women ever year. Be proactive and schedule the exam now!  My biopsy was benign, however, I still have to have surgery to remove the mass. I am so blessed that my mass was benign.  

After all that, I saw this and thought…well, I have no reason to fear, I have purpose!

My girls are notorious for finding my phone and taking selflies…so I thought I'd have some fun and post some! 

Cuisine Spiralizer

 For Christmas I got this spiralizer that I have wanted for a long time. I was scared to use it even thought I had wanted it. So, I finally tried it out and used zucchini for spaghetti, and it was delicious. The kids even liked it and so did Loren and he does Not like zucchini! So, this was an (you can find it here) Amazon WIN!!

The Wildlife Preserve

 As part of our field trip we went to the Wildlife Preserve it was a nice break from walking up those stairs. We had some time to recover and we were the only ones there.
