Merry Christmas

I know that I have not written in a long time and have only updated my blog backgrounds! However, we moved in June from Colorado to New York, so we've been super busy this year trying to sell our house, buy a new house and settle in to a new community and schools for our children!

We moved and have a beautiful home here in New York, we also have chickens, never thought I would say that! Our dog loves the property so that she can run and be FREE! Our children have loved the move and its been very good for our family.

I will start catching up on my blog again soon! Once Christmas is over, I will work on catching it up. I also need to figure out how to make some books of each year so I have hard copies of my blog posts.

I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and a wonderful New Year for 2017!

Playing Dress-up

One day Taylor and her friends were playing dress up. Aubrey said something about she loved to play dress up. I said you are to old for that now. So, she left the room and came back looking like this…she said NOBODY is every to old to play dress-up!  We got a huge laugh out of it. She cracks me up!

This was a Christmas dress from years ago.now she got that on I will never know but she did!

  •  Her opera pose!

 The kiss pose

Shadow did not want to be left out and she needed to figure out what in the world Aubrey was doing.

AND then…she put a crown on me. ROLLING MY EYES at this!

HELP ME get me out of this crown, I was not up for this LOL but Aubrey make sure I knew, nobody is to old for dress-up!

What I'm behind again???

I vowed last time I caught up my blog that I would indeed stay caught up, because its so difficult to play catch up! I failed at that, I love blogging, but being a homeschool mom I just don't have endless time to sit and blog. Today, I am making a comeback! Call me the come back kid, haha just kidding.

As I prepare to play catch up on my blog I would like to say that I absolutely love my sweet family. This past spring, I have been able to see all of my children. That can be quite a feat since we do not all live in the same state, Today's world becomes so much harder and my grown children move to different states for employment, and to raise their own families. However, we had a great spring visiting all our children and grandchildren.

First let me start with an update on my health…I'm still waiting for that surgeon to get back with me on what she wants to do, first it was an MRI, and I don't think that was approved by insurance. Now I'm waiting (its my fault I need to call and be proactive) to see where she wants to go from here. I'm happy not to have surgery!

Alright, I will conclude with saying that I'm glad to be back, be patient with me as I scroll through thousands of photos and try to recreate the last five months! My blog is my journal in life, so that
I have a history of all the best parts to look back on!

Women's Conference

Every year I have an opportunity to attend a Women's Conference with my sister and daughter. This  year my baby sister came. She and I were blessed to be able to attend the temple several times. I love that we were able to spend time with each other in the House of the Lord.

I sure love spending time with my sweet daughter Laura and we had a blast with my sister leah too!
