the first animals we saw in the park! Elk!
This is Connor's little snake he found, it was awesome. He had so much fun with the snake.
where the Buffalo roam...oh give me a home. what a beautiful site.
A baby buffalo, I believe its called a calf.
Had to get the kids a pic with the buffalo.
The Geyser's, I had no idea how stinky these things are and oh after you've been to a few you don't need to get out of the car for them...they made me feel sick. So, I kept telling Loren that we needed to just take a few pics from the car and then we'll keep going to Old Faithful.
We got to the Paint pots and Taylor was warned so much about staying on the trail and what could happen and not mess around, she did NOT want to be away from me to take this picture. this was the leather pool it was so cool.
Mud pot!
At the paintpots we got there when the geyser was blowing.
Old Faithful wwas such a tease...We got there right after it has blown so we waited around for the 90 minutes to see it go off again. It was so fun! We brought a backpack with snacks and drinks. So we didn't need a thing. It was sunny, but cool.
Old Faithful!
the kids loved playing the the river, it was a calm area and so we pulled off for a picnic and let the kids et out of the car and run around. It was still a little cool outside.
My kids love rocks, the river was full of them. So, thats just what they did, hunted for ...rocks!
Taylor's butt crack hahaha
The cute picnic area that we stopped out. We had our HUGE white Igloo cooler in the van the whole time so we just keep it full of water, and then we brought our lunchmeat or sandwhich stuff in the green bucket on the table each day, I'd just set it on the ice. It worked out good.
On our way out of the park, we had some fun visitors walking along.
this guy looked me in the eye, I rolled the window up FAST!
