More sad news

Today we received an email from Taylor's elementary school principle, she said that a boy in Taylor's first grade class died expectantly. So now after the last week we've had we have to help our daughter deal and heal from a boy in her class that passed away. Taylor said that she sat right next to him, and he was absent because he was sick. The email said that he got sick on Friday and died on Saturday.

As I take a deep breath and regroup, I am going to not only hug my sweet daughter a little more. I am going to take this all in and realize how short life is, and how much we have the responsibility to create happiness and love, to create good memories for ourselves and and our family. I will take this as a sign to stop worrying about the little things and focus on what is most important in this life.

Christmas is a great time to reflect on good times, family and home. This last week has been an emotional roller coaster. I will teach my children to be kind, loving and do good. I want for them to be good people!
